Basic evaluation techniques, project final assembly, and final exam. The hands-on project will involve a hybrid composite wet lay-up construction to the specified requirements. The major goal of this project is to introduce workshop attendees to basic composite fabrication using materials and manufacturing methods common to industry. The project deliverable will be the finished manufactured component.

The course covers basic composite theory, fiber reinforcements, matrix systems, fabrication techniques, and safety.
It provides knowledge, techniques, and materials necessary to complete a sample project using composite wet lay-up.
